Go See! – From Drones to Diesels 

The HSU Educational Foundation’s Game Changers event this month features getting out there and taking advantage of some great programs going on in our area!   Whether you’re into drones and underwater UAVs or bigger, better, faster vehicles through superior engineering, we’ve got you covered!   There are two separate events that we will list and each will need an RSVP to tag along with the HSU Game Changers Squad.

Come join HSU Educational Foundation and Drone TEAM Challenge as they attend events at the 2018 Seaperch Northwest Florida Regional.   HSU Educational Foundation will be supporting Drone Team Challenge as they demo their drone competition format and attendees will be allowed to get their hands on real flight simulators and experience FPV drone flight.

SeaPerch is an innovative underwater robotics program that equips teachers and students with the resources they need to build an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) in an in-school or out-of-school setting. Students build the ROV from a kit comprised of low-cost, easily accessible parts, following a curriculum that teaches basic engineering and science concepts with a marine engineering theme. The SeaPerch Program provides students with the opportunity to learn about robotics, engineering, science, and mathematics (STEM) while building an underwater ROV as part of a science and engineering technology curriculum. For those involved with the project, students learn engineering concepts, problem solving, teamwork, and technical applications.
