Students ages 12 years old and up who are participating in the Rocket Camp should have an interest in the general physics behind how rockets and planes fly. They will build a single and double stage rocket, design a payload holder to transport a mini camera, learn about rocketry and the forces of flight.
This camp is held at the HSU Innovation Institute North at 5793 John Givens Rd in Crestview on June 24th – June 28th from 1:30pm 3:30pm.
On the Saturday following camp we will offer an opportunity for parents to see the students rocket take off at the HSU STEM Range in Laurel Hill. Plan to arrive at HSU STEM Range at 7396 Bill Lundy Road in Laurel Hill from 9:00am until noon to see the cumulation of their hard work.
