Event lasts 5 days, 2 hours each day
Youth will be introduced to the 5 missions of Drone Team Challenge (DTC) in this introductory camp for rising 3rd -12th graders.
Join the HSU Educational Foundation for Flight Week where youth will be introduced to the mission components of Drone Team Challenge. Using quadrotor drones, participants will explore flight simulation, drone flight, autonomous drone programming and creative applications in drone technologies. We’ll hone our critical thinking skills and enjoy a week focused on flight principles, flight safety, and the exciting future of drones. Participants will earn the TRUST certificate for recreational drone flying.
This camp is held at the HSU Innovation Institute North at 5793 John Givens Road in Crestview on June 22-26, 2026 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
Participants are encouraged to bring a snack and water bottle with their name on it and must wear closed toe shoes, no crocs.
You may only register for 2 camps. (This camp and Advanced Drone Team Challenge count as one camp.)
