During this Carpentry Camp students will be trained on the safety measures involved in a wood shop and create a project or two.

Students in middle and high school who have an interest in learning about careers in the building industry, are invited to join us for the Introduction to Carpentry camp. This camp explores the basics of carpentry and applies the use of workshop tools and equipment with instruction by industry professionals. Participants will have an opportunity to grow more confident about tackling projects in the FieldWerx workshop.

The HSU Educational Foundation Workforce Partner for this camp is Triple R Construction.

Students must wear closed toe shoes, short sleeve shirt, and have long hair pulled back for their safety in the woodshop.

Students may bring a snack and drink with their name it each day.

This camp is August 3-7, 2026.
