The HSU Educational Foundation is offering a Small Engine Basic Repair course with lead instruction by Step One Automotive at the HSU Innovation Institute South. This course will be held 2 times per week for 2 hours each session. (Wednesdays 5 pm to 7 pm, and Saturdays 10 am to noon).
The “Small Engine Basics Repair” course will be 4 weeks long, for a total of 16 hours and led by a Step One Automotive Senior Master Mechanic. Students of middle and high school level will be taking apart a small engine, putting it back together, and starting the engines. The students will learn basic parts of the engine, the tools needed, and techniques that can be applied to vehicle engine repair.
