About this event

Event lasts 4 days, 2 hours each day

Students will be introduced to the 5 missions of Drone Team Challenge (DTC) in this introductory camp for rising 3rd -12th graders.

Join the HSU Educational Foundation for Flight Week where students will be introduced to the mission components of Drone Team Challenge. Using quadrotor drones, students will explore flight simulation, drone flight, autonomous drone programming, and creative applications in drone technologies. We’ll hone our critical thinking skills and enjoy a week focused on flight principles, flight safety, and the exciting future of drones. The HSU Educational Foundation workforce development partners for this camp are the Air Force Research Laboratory and the Ray Foundation.

This camp is held at the HSU Innovation Institute South at 709 Anchors Street in Fort Walton Beach on June 29-July 2, 2026 11:30 pm – 1:30 pm.

Students are recomended to bring a snack and drink with their name on it. Students must wear closed toe shoes. (No Crocs, please)
