Game Changers focuses on Electrifying Holiday Science

At the December meeting of the Game Changers Squad, students focused on electrifying holiday science with the help of a Gulf Power engineer. In addition to being informed about the dangers of electrical power lines in emergency situations, students also had the chance to create their own parallel and series circuits with holiday lights to understand what makes a strand of lights stay on or go out.

The Game Changers Squad empowers students through experimentation and hands-on interactive learning. This business-to-student program is held on the first Saturday of each month and strives to connect industry partners to students, exposing them to new technologies and inspiring excitement while encouraging critical thinking and problem solving.
