Choctaw Teacher Wins National AFA Award

Congratulations to Sean McSheehy for winning first place in Florida and third place in the U.S. for the prestigious Air Force Association’s National Teacher of the Year contest. I worked with Sean personally bringing about the UAV and 3D Printing Technology Demo at Laurel Hill School last spring. I was impressed by his eager approach to inspire a love of STEM among not only his own students, but also those attending a small rural school in the north part of our county which has never before experienced this opportunity.
