Learn the basics of 3D CAD and Mechanical Design using Solidworks over this 8-week course. The HSU Educational Foundation FieldWerx is offering this 8-week course exposing high school and adult participants to SolidWorks. It will be held each week on Thursdays from 5 pm – 7 pm, at HSU Innovation Institute South. After learning the basics of 3D CAD and Mechanical Design using SolidWorks in this course, participants they advance to designing and printing their own parts and can next choose to take Intro to 3D printing.

This beginner level course is an intensive class which will introduce 3D CAD mechanical design principals and allow participants to create virtual 3D parts that can be used with other CAD programs and used for 3D printing.

Course dates: January 20, 27, February 3, 10, 17, 24 and March 3, 10 from 5 – 7 pm. (Intro to 3D Printing course – March 10).

All adult and high school student participants must be pre-registered to attend.
