Learn from the experts at MAG Aerospace through an introduction to SOLIDWORKS for 3D design and prototyping, as offered by the HSU Educational Foundation and 1SOW FieldWerx partnership.
This course will teach the fundamentals of 3D parametric design using the SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD program. Participants will learn how to read sketches, draw sketches, make solid bodies, edit solid bodies, combine multiple parts together into an assembly, and edit an already built assembly. Participants will gain the confidence to build 3D parts that can be used in other STEM disciplines such as game design, manufacturing, or engineering.
This is a 9-week short course event to be held on Mondays from 3:00PM – 5:00PM beginning January 4, 2021 and ending March 1, 2021 at HSU Innovation Institute South , 709 Anchors Street, Fort Walton Beach, FL.
This event will be open to a mix of adult and school aged students ages 13 and over. Participation only requires a desire to learn new skills and an eagerness to explore new technologies. Come join in on this opportunity to change the world and develop innovation through design and prototyping.
